Sat 15 Jun UTC GG England. Disappointing that you couldn't find the right support at the stalemate line.
Sat 15 Jun UTC gg. I really don't understand this last year, Turkey. You have been very logical and solid in your play throughout, and I resigned myself to a draw after last year to the point I chose not to even make an attempt at Warsaw or Moscow in the spring because I assumed Ukr supporting War and Sev supporting Mos were automatic, and I didn't want to needlessly risk Russia getting annoyed or nervous for any reason so I supported... To then see I missed my chance, and assumed you'd make the normal moves in the Fall. I did try this time, and am simply flabbergasted it worked.
Sat 15 Jun UTC Having said all that, I was really, really annoyed at my own play this game. I made multiple awful strategic decisions (that play for Red Sea, ugh) and tons of risky guesses when it wasn't necessary that didn't work out (and some bad guesses when it was necessary) after I got what I felt was a near winning position.
Sat 15 Jun UTC No excuses, I put my orders when I woke up this morning and just wasn’t paying close enough attention. I should have saved and double checked instead of readying, but we’d been moving at such a fast pace I didn’t want to hold the game up. A learning experience to be sure, I won’t be making that mistake again…
Sat 15 Jun UTC Regardless, well played and congrats on the victory!
Sat 15 Jun UTC Annoyed even more by the 2500 rating not changing after that play. Disappointed finish to what should've been a good hold.
I don't think I played great but felt very trapped the entire game with no way to expand without leaving something weaker after 1902. Otherwise thought Turkey and Austria played a good game.
Sat 15 Jun UTC I do feel like you outplayed me in general, you read me like a book most of the time. And yeah, rushing moves can be a painful lesson (been there lol). Regardless, thanks!
Sat 15 Jun UTC Gg indeed. Thanks all.
Austria is not a piece of cake !
