I'll have to think about this. I'm starting to make the move to only playing here because I can't stand looking at the webdip forums for more than 10-20 milliseconds. So it would be nice to be in a consistent group of players.

Me too, this site is far better than webDip. So many more fun variants to try, 1 v 1s, few trolls, better administration, and yes, better forums. Thanks Oli for making such a good site!

Sacred, the VPL is a broad church of awesomeness. I know there's a number of liberals and neocons in the VPL. Our League looks above politics and rewards excellence in VDip gameplay!

I haven't been paying attention to this forum to recognize the need to respond to slander. Tory and Whig are diametric opposites. Tory means brigand as in thief. Whig meant cattle driver and was a derisive term for Highland Scot hicks. Democrats took the Jackass as a symbol because someone called Andrew Jackson one. NeoConservative was invented in the late '60s as a derisive term for lifelong left-wing Democrats who began making "Conservative" arguments on either foreign or domestic issues. It was originally coined to describe men like Daniel Patrick Moynihan and Irving Kristol, incidentally during the period in which they effectively created Ralph Nader and started writing the first serious analyses of Black family breakdown. This was well before NeoCon became the acceptable way for liberals to say "kike".
