So how do the points get split if your enemies concede?
I don't really care about points, but just curious how that works out in a PPSC environment. Does the winner still get half the points and the rest get divided between the survivors somehow? Or does the winner get his present worth which is less than a win would get him considering he must be shy of the win.

Who else has ever done this:
So recently I played a classic game, and I found myself doing something strange, yet it seemed to pay off greatly... I found myself pulling out my board game copy of Diplomacy, putting the units on the map, and after every turn, I would try to find all the different options my neighbors could make, and find ways to counter them. I would use information from the game to pick the most likely moves to be made, and counteract them. so just a question, who else has finds themselves doing this?

Golden Fascist Sheep EOG statements

So longest of 1066 yet, finishing in 1083. Well played by Shep and Goldfinger, it was probably one of the most exciting games (at least imo) I have played in a while.

So it was an interesting game, played against Goldfinger, in his 1066 debut, and Shep, who alongside me is one of the most harden veterans of the variant.

I guess feeling bad for Goldfinger, this being one of his first games on the site, I decided to ally with England against Norway, an unlikely duo.

I managed to beat Shep to Denmark before begining the long 3-way battle, where at all times the 2 smaller powers were allied against the 3rd large one.

This was until Goldfinger lost 4 supply centers in 1077 and I figured my gains were large enough to attempt the solo.

I gave Goldfinger Oxford that summer on the grounds that he promised to let me solo before changing my mind the following year.

After that began a 5 year period where I was stuck on 9 scs, one short of the solo.

It seemed like I was going to loose, with me loosing ground in England bit by bit and Shep stalemating me in the east when I decided to play my last card.

Having a build from my disband in Kaupang, I chose to waive my build. The idea was I would vacate Sweden that year, and build a much needed army there, rather then a useless fleet in Denmark.

The fog served to my advantage for this turn, since the orders of Gunfighter and Shep were based on the assumption that I had one more fleet then I actually did, forcing them to be more cautious then they needed to be.

Over all it was a pretty exciting game, and resumed my love of 3-player variants.
Ack, if only I could take back some moves of those last three years.

As England, I found this to be an extremely difficult variant, having to fight off two different enemies from two different directions. At one point I did manage to get to 8 centers, but it all quickly fell apart after that.

I started out with the goal in my head to take all of Scotland. It was slow work, but with the Normans hammering away at Denmark, it was bound to fall sooner or later. My fault (that I realize now) is that I got too greedy and moved my fleet out of the Channel area and up the east coast of Britain to speed up my attack. It left me blind against the French stab that I thought I'd have a little more time to defend against.

I parried the first stab well, but once Shep started collapsing to the east it was all i could do to just hold the line as France did a second round of convoys. Second biggest mistake of the game was vacating London to take Oxford. London is far easier to defend than Oxford, and I think it would have left us with a bit more leeway in terms of our strategic choices had we decided to stay put there.

But overall good game to Fasces and Shep. You were fun to play with and I enjoy clashing with you again.

Yeah, when you took London that first year, I was praying that you would move out of London to take Oxford. Since I would have a much harder time against you. My prays were answered. (Still atheist though)

I know exactly what my mistake in this game was, I should have blocked the Norman fleet that sailed into North East North Sea in the spring of 1078, that is the biggest regret I had in this game. After that point Fasces was behind my line and too many of my units were tied down try to take out his fleets, that he steadily reinforced.

Other than that in the earlier game I felt somewhat like a mercenary power who had to switch sides in order stop whoever was in the lead from soloing. Except for the instance I tried to run for the win myself, but I quickly bogged down and had to make an accord with Normandy.

Overall I would say it was a good experience for me, I usually do rather well on this map in gunboats and don't have as much experience as I should with full press. So it was a pretty good learning experience.

Relability rating
With only two games played on this page - both being victories with all moves received, I am a bit puzzled that my reliability rating is F. Further, it suggests that I have missed 1 of 3 phases, but in the two games I have played, we did more than 3 phases. Any ideas?

So I saw a flyer today for Re-Occupy Minnesota, and it was emblazoned with the phrase "sic semper tyrannis". If I was trying to build a political mass movement, I think I would avoid referencing the assassination of Abe Lincoln in a manner that seems to support it. Am I crazy?
