Ah, there we go. I will create a Classic, Build anywhere. Pot will be 10 and I will send out the invites very shortly. Does anyone from the above 7 players NOT understand how the honesty game works? Simply stated, you can NEVER lie. Period. If you enter into an alliance, you cannot leave the alliance unless the other player agrees as well. If you commit to never attack player A, and subsequently betray player A, that is a lie and you cannot do it. If you make multiple commitments and they are contradictory, the first commitment you made takes precedence--always! Are there any questions here?

One question: What if A makes and alliance with B. Before moving against B, would A be allowed to give a season or a year's notice, and then attack? Or is an alliance unbreakeable?

So in theory, if you promise to ally with A and he goes to war with B, but after your promise, but before the war you promise to B that you will go to war with A if he attacks B. What is the verdict?

Krabby, if you enter into a pact with someone, you have to honor it until both parties agree it ends. This fact usually leads to the proposal of short agreements (Hey, let's have a NAP until end of Spring 1923") with options to extend later on.

Regarding wars, you can still be allies with both. It depends on the terms of each alliance or NAP. Typically speaking, they involve promises not to support an enemy against your friend. If that is the case, you would just sit back and watch them pummel each other while you tend to other business. That would indeed be ideal. Problem is you have to ensure the terms do not require you to act. That complicates the matter.
