The Cloak & Dagger series is similar to the premise of the vDip Players League (VPL) in that I created it for reliable players who like a lot of Diplomacy.
Unlike the Game of Games series, which features a 100-point buy-in, winner takes all points, and longer phases, this series always features:
* A low buy-in of 5
* Anonymous play
* Short 2-day phases
* Points per supply center held
* Diplomacy encouraged
The 1st game in the Cloak & Dagger series, "Ultimate Fantasy:" in the Fantasy World variant, is coming to a close, with a four-way draw between Rajasthan, Ishfahan, New Foundland, and Jylland appearing likely. Though we did end up with one major CD player, the remaining powers were quick to feast on the CD power's centers and the outcome of the game probably did not change that much, other than the inclusion and exclusion of one power in the final draw.
