Sorry to rain on your parade, but from my experience on WebDip, I'm only giving you the proper welcome treatment. You seem to have a peculiar grasp on proper American political thought, so allow me to enlighten our fellow VDippers.
From your blog:
"Populism is the mistaken idea that whatever the majority of people believe is correct. This logic, or lack thereof, is how Roosevelt, Johnson, and Obama were able to get their way unmolested. Populism’s fundamental problem is that Christ himself that the majority of the world was against him. So the whole “majority rules” nonsense is just that: nonsense.
Populism is the basis of every democracy. This is why, with the exception of Eastern Europe, every single republic in the world is voting itself into socialism."
I'll commend you on your ability to dictate an argument at a middle school level, but you clearly aren't approaching your political thought with any sort of a level mind. You're making a point and then finding a way to prove it. You're just a sample of what's wrong with the American political system and the saddest thing is that you're trying to blame the other end of the aisle for exactly what you're doing. Since you seem to appreciate the teachings of Christ, why don't you take a lesson:
"Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye."
