so is everyone ok with it being a 10 pot, 5 minute, full press wta game sometime next week? possibly friday. if we are doing full press it may be beneficial for us to have it be a 10 minute phase, but most people prefer 5. please respond and say what you would prefer.

I'd like to play full press.

I used to play live games on classic in the computer game by Paradox Interactive, and we sure needed more than 5 min. In FTF 15 is common.

so far i have only heard from 3 of the original players. currently we have 3 people for a gunboat (ccga, el cremoso, myself and if needed entreri) while we have 4 for full press (snake, entreri, el cremoso, and myself. please respond. i am just looking for the first 6 players to post interest and the game type(s) that they would want to play.

Sorry, if it is full press I will need to back out. In my opinion, 5 or 10 minutes is not enough time to conduct the necessary diplomacy. I don't want to prevent people from playing what they want to play though, so if the consensus is to play full press please proceed without me. If we decide on a gunboat though, I'm definitely still interested!

15 would be borderline for me, but then we're getting to the point where a live game would take several hours, and I don't know that we would be able to get 7 people available for that long of a stretch. My vote is still for a 5-min (or 10-min if necessary) gunboat. If people wanted, we could have make it public press for non-game related chat.

The gunboat should be 5 minutes. Thats plenty of time to get moves in, especially with no messages being sent.

Basically no one has responded so yes.if your name was on the list, but you did not respond your place is gone. If you did, you will take priority.

If you want to join say whether you would want to play with a full press, 10 minute phase with a possible extend for the first phase for diplomacy, a gunboat (or possible public to only be used if really needed.) or both. Thanks. Also this is needed.

6:30 eastern time would be too late for me; it's bedtime for people in Europe who have to get up in the morning. I would suggest a Sunday, where working hours of different time zones doesn't clash.

Spring 01 Gobble replacement

This game hasn't started yet, but France NMR'd for spring 01 so we need a replacement. Since this is gobble earth, France has territory all over the map. It'd be good to get a replacement and you won't start at any disadvantage.
