Requirements to moderate game?

Is it 25 games and a minimum RR of 97? Thanks!

Yes but not 2 player games, they don't count total.

I have 25 completed games, but I still wasn’t allowed to moderate a game. I‘ve never played a 2 player game. I‘m not sure why I can’t moderate a game yet. Thanks for your response.

I think the 25 games have to be non-live, so that's probably why you can't moderate a game.

Have you ever played a private game? I believe those don't count.

Yes - lots of private games. If that‘s the case then I’m definitely under 25. Where did you hear/read that?

It's just my own guess, because I wasn't able to moderate, and I've run a handful of those as well.

I remain unable to moderate, while I've finished 45 games. I've played a couple live and two player games, but certainly not 20+ of them. I don't even think I've played enough private games to explain that difference. Perhaps it doesn't count games where you assume open positions?

I'm only spitballing here.

Bartonar's suggestion is most probably right. It is plausible and it explains the same result for several players with dozens finished regular games.

Fun fact: I do not have completed 25 non-live games with more than 2 players; I have only completed 22 of those. Yet, I can set myself as the moderator when I create a game.

Hmmm it is a mystery, that’s for sure… Maybe you (Mercy) were grandfathered in based on previous requirements. One would think the mods would encourage self modded games in order to reduce their workload. Or it might be that the option has been removed in an update and it’s too much work to remove the mention from the Create Game menu….

Do you have any missed phases in the last year? I know that stopped me from moderating when I ran Around the World.

Game count is currently broken and not updated. Thus, the condition of 25 non-2-player games cannot be reached at the moment. Until this is fixed you can contact us in the mod forum to get a director license manually granted by mod team if needed.

A comment on common courtesy

Stuff happens in life and people occasionally need help from Mods to exit games without destroying the games for other players. Players who need Mods to remove them and delay games should provide a list of all of their games to the Mods. This is common courtesy.
