This was a typo, I already made the interest payments on the bonds.

I'd like to see total debt of each nation. Not that anyone has high enough interest to be a default risk (oddly it is only very big countries who have 6+ center (or 8+ in the case of russia) who will start having less income than upkeep... Thus there is a risk of becoming too big to fail... Though without any rescue mechanism :)

I designed it that way, where smaller states would have the advantage of easier income and larger states would have the advantage of being larger.

Begining to like it more and more, especially combined with tue non-zeo sum nature of the interaaction (for examplenit is in the investors interest for govts to hold onto tjeir home supply centers, for purely selfish reasons)

and at the same time holding an enemies home sc is a double edged sword.

From a financial perspective, taking an enemy sc is worthless, but at the same time, home scs means taking money away from your enemy, the loss to the enemy being double of taking any other supply center.

The question is, is taking the loss worth it, so your enemies suffer an even bigger loss.

The creditors will no doubt not want any loss, since they need governments to have money to pay them, but governments will think differently.

but will creditors use this desire to influence govts, or will the governments be happy they can finance their debt without worrying about what the investors think?

So..... Countries to who don't put any bonds on the market could be on the end of elimination before other countries that have given out bonds will.

Meaning, Countries that have more investors and how heavily invested they are, the more influence those investors have on that country and the more influence that country could have?

I haven't seen or heard anything on this in a few days... whats going on?

i can't believe how tired i am... must unpack; i think i lost my passport :-/

Sorry to have to do this guys, but I am going to have to ask for a 1-2 week pause. The laptop that I use, which contained the only copy of the excel spreadsheet that contained all the data for this game broke, and is currently in a repair shop.

The alternative is for people to resend my the information for private deals and stuff and I just remake it on my temporary replacement. Thoughts?

Terrible time for a pause for me. I'm just trying to get back into the game. Don't recall al my private deals, or what bonds i owe.

We could just call it quits and have the investors allow a mass default :)
