During our game, when superflemgobuious missed a move, I asked him what happened. He entered moves again, but never replied. Then after that, he abandoned.

I pmed him to ask him if he was still interested in the vdip cup. if he doesn't respond I'll see if we can find a replacement. In any case would you be interested in replaying those games due to the nmr's? (other wise I doubt he will volunteer to continue playing)

I would re-play him again and not count the games he abandoned.

Fasces: I PM'ed superflemgobuious and he has not replied. He has also abandoned some other games that he was playing, outside the tournament. I plan on moving on to my next round and let the officials figure out how to handle this.

We now have a 3rd resignation from the tourney...

I, like tt, am leaving the site. I came to realize I spend way too much time dedicated to Diplomacy, and need to take a break. I will probably return around summer's end, but I need time to relax and take a break from this for a few months, and my recent mass NMR's gives me even more reason to do so. it has screwed me beyond repair in multiple games and gave me my first resignation here(on a game I was doing great in and was about to draw), so I am leaving for a while. I will finish off my current games and thats it.

I will replace, but only if you get additional people...

I would like to continue. We started with 16 players, only 3 have dropped out. It stinks that players sign up and then drop out, but all remaining games against them can just be considered forfeited. It's still just the preliminaries, and the goal is to find the 8 players who are worthy of a playoff spot.

Unfortunatly your in the same group, if you both won all your game except for when you face eachother it would be in the semi-finals...
