it's an Italian strategy where ur moves seem aggressive toward Austria or even Germany when u spring the trap on France. it's very risky and easy to fail.

I figure it would be funny to play a face to face game and convince all the people that I'm actually a noob instead of someone who has been playing for a decent amount of time, so they let me off and give me an opening to absolutely destroy them XD

Probably the stupidest thing I ever did in a face to face game was a game where I was France.

Me and Russia allied against Germany and then England. After that Russia suggested we convoy his army from Norway to Tunis.

That turn he stabbed me taking 3 of my centers, as well as Tunis bringing him to 15 scs.

Sadly me, Turkey and Italy were unable to stop him from soloing. I just though the Irony of loosing Denmark, Holland and Yorkshire while convoying and supporting an enemy army to Tunis on the same turn was Ironic.

i think by far the stupidest opening statement i've ever heard in a f2f game has to be, "Why are you naked?"

that and, "i don't know who you are, but put down the gun...why are you naked?"

If I wasn't so hell bent on never lying I might try to play the why doesn't the colour change in the spring noob card, lol.

I'll come up with my own noob thing "if it even is". Why are there only a couple tanks attacking the country? Where Are my soldiers?

Is there any chance that could be make people believe you are a noob? I think I would believe it, I mean, who would read instructions, I always come across friends in real life or people online that just skip to the game play and then ask "Hey, what do I do? This makes no sense!"

I feel like one of the few that reads instructions before even playing.

The best manual for any game is the actual game.

it may take a few games before I actually know what I'm doing, but it beats the hell out of reading the manual.

Plus, by taking fasces's approach, you get to know that you're bringing joy and a feeling of superiority into all the adammaas out there.

I once tried the Oktoberfest opening but as I ended up in Munich in autum, I drank too much and passed out, quickly CDing after that.

I don't read the WHOLE manual, I do a quick overview (overall) look at what to do and at least understand the basics. At that point, time to jump into the dog pile from hell!
