Hi everyone,

This issue is known to us and we are trying to correct it. The problem is that the vRanking system needs to be updated due to some crashed games that were throwing players rank of kilter. Unfortunately the whole recalculation of everyone's vRanking keeps bugging at around half way through its algorithm. This resulted in miss-calculated results of many players vRank.

Firstly we do apologise for this, however your real rank is not lost, only the process that calculates your ranking is broken. When we get that algorithm up and working your rank will be restored to where it aught to be as NONE of that data is lost.

Second please also remember that this site was specifically set up as an experimental space for variants and as a place where the code can be altered and played with, and when things are found to be stable, to be ported to webDip as sorce code. So again we apologise that the vRanking system is currently not working properly, but we are looking into ways within our power to fix it.

Unfortunately we cannot give any time frame as to when this problem will be rectified, only that your 'true' vRank will not be lost when it is sorted out.

I hope this clarifies some of the concern out there in the community at the moment.

I hope that the algorithm resolves itself and does the whole database, otherwise we will need to wait for the site owner to do this and we unfortunately can't give a timeframe as to when this will happen. Thanks for your patience.

YCHTT, your question is redundant

I'm pretty sure my points and position dropped drasticaly after I WON a game.

kaner406 explained it above, but basically your points were recalculated at the end of the game, but a bunch of your games would not have been counted, due to the crash in the full calculation of rankings. Once they fix the logic that causes the crash, all the games will be counted correctly and we'll all be back to #1 ranking. ;-)
