id like to see some more tribes too

I do like this rat wars thing, but what has been making me feel not great about playing it are the second type of units that can move by 3 spaces or so. Maybe if having just those normal ones that move 1 space each in any direction could be a different concept, but maybe this brings on that you can get stale mate lines much easier and prolly pretty frequently?

To be honest I designed the variant hoping to avoid stalemate lines entirely, what sort of movement concept do you have in mind?
(I was thinking of making a unit that could move like a knight in chess...)

Ah, ok.... Well, maybe I'm not used to that type of play style where units could move behind and into your back sc's.... Almost sounds like your trying to make this a chess game lol. You know, chaoctopi is anohter example of me feeling not to up to the challenge, the ability to move/support/defend up to 2 spaces away from you feels so daunting.

Also about chaoctopi is how you can of course grab half of the sc's or just over that to win. I do like that concept

What I think I would love even more is if You can do the same in that world war 4 map is it? It takes like, 50 sc's to win? which is only like what, 1/4 or even 1/5 of the sc's? I'd love to try and play such a long brutal game of the world war 4 map where, for a solo, you have to get half of the sc's lol.


Well, back on this, I think maybe double moves are also good, maybe, keep the strait line of movement but support can be any place that equals 2 away.

Unless you think keeping 3 strait and then implementing the chaoctopi like movement for the supporting is good.... I think it would put a much more interesting twist when it comes to the walls.
