PUT IT ON THE MOD FORUM!!!!!

Thank you. I appreciate your excitement and capital letters, along with the excessive exclamation marks. If you hadn't done that I probably would not have seen your message.

According to the FAQ, the mods should already know, but if the crash continues then I should post it here to find out what's happening. There is no mention of the mod forum. I know how to use the mod forum, however IF I did not know what it was, your advice would be useless.

Ok, this "mod forum" is apparently a new development, that i didn't notice. Not everyone checks the forum every day. I thought you meant the dev forum, which is what I was referring to. Really this new "mod forum" should be updated in the FAQ.

Ok, drwiggles, you're right: the FAQs suck and should be updated.

But didn't it sound strange to you that you could reveal to everybody you're in that Anonymous game? What's the point in joining an Anon game if you tell everybody you're in it?
So, since you don't check the Forum everyday (or you check it quite rarely, only 15 posts in 30 months) and then you probably could have missed something, you could have been more cautions IE saying just "I got an Anon game crashed, could a Mod please PM me?", without the gameID.

So please don't get surpised people gets overexcited as they see those careless posts and use too many exclamation marks.

I suppose that I should explain. I like this site, but I HATE going onto the forum and seeing it flooded with "mods check ..." messages, or "here's an ad for an anonymous game" messages. So, I will basically randomly choose one every so often to rage at. You were the unlucky winner today.

Honestly I understand all that, and I apologize for posting it; however posting like that is just as annoying.

Yes, the FAQs need an update, since to:
"My game has crashed!" it replies:
"...If your game has been crashed for a long time try asking about it in the forum.",
without specify in which forum you should ask. :(

But it must be said that the Help page has been updated recently with a brand new "VDiplomacy features" section, in which you can read:

Instead of sending an EMail the preferred way to contact the mods is opening a thread in the Modforum. You can access this from the "Mods"-tab. A message postet there will alert all mods to check on this issue and you can keep track of your issue in the thread. You are only able to view threads you started and nobody else but the mods can see your threads there.

So yes, 'Help' page may need some fixes, but it's not that outdated.
